Every year The Sutton Complementary Health Network members attend a Fun BBQ with Games.

The Sutton Complementary Health Network is made up of local qualified and insured therapist in the Sutton area, that meet up monthly to support each other.

This year New Chairman Mobile Massage Therapist Theo hosted it in his Sutton garden with pork kebabs fresh from the Carshalton Beeches Butchers being the flavour/favourite as the main and juicie water Melon with scrumptious cakes for afters.

This is the second time around Home Visiting Massage Therapist Theo has been at the helm. He was 1st Chairman over ten years ago and is now one of two members being the longest serving members of The Sutton Complementary Health Network.

He has been been massaging for over 30 years now, from Relaxing Massage for Individuals and Couples to Sports Massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage in Your Home. As Theo use to be a County Sports Development Officer for the British Sports Association for the Disabled, he visits lots of Disability Residential Homes and Care Homes in South West London.

It is traditional at each Annual BBQ that a Fun Game is played to compete for the Yvonne Stone Memorial Trophy (Yvonne was Chairman and one of the most active members that was taken away from us too early – members like to think she is looking down on us with a smile knowing that The SCHN continues to support local Therapists).

This year’s Game was Molkky. A great Finnish throwing game similar to bowling, Kubb and pétanque that can be played in the garden.

Katie Nunn our Osteopath was the outright winner and was slightly happy to receive this Special Award!

She gets to keep it until the next game.
